Talk about the wife of the party! Donning a bridal-inspired feathered frock and dripping in over $1 million in diamonds, Priyanka Chopra celebrated her bridal shower at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Box Cafe in NYC on Oct. 28. “This was not a conventional shower; it was a nightclub in Tiffany. There was so much dancing — like five hours of dancing,” gushed the 36-year-old, who is set to wed Nick Jonas in December. “My bridesmaids did this whole thing with all my favorite foods and cocktails and songs and people and women that I love in New York. It was so special and wonderful. It was such an eclectic, fun, diverse, cool group of women that it just made me so happy.” Guests included famous friends like Kelly Ripa and Lupita Nyong’o as well as future in-laws Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Jonas. “Nick’s mom gave a really moving speech,” a source tells Life & Style, “about how they’re so happy to have Priyanka in the family.” Everyone received customized passport holders from Tiffany — and they’ll need them for the wedding! Nick, 26, and Priyanka, who got engaged in July after just two months of dating, “are tying the knot in India,” the source reveals. “There will be two ceremonies — one traditional Indian, the other American — and the festivities will last a few days.”
Though the chiseled “Chains” crooner was traveling, “Priyanka chatted with Nick via Facetime at the party,” says a spy.
Starting from scratch! Tarek El Moussa is used to having to gut single-family homes, but in 2016, it was his marriage to wife Christina that just wasn’t up to code — and after seven years of marriage, the Flip or Flop stars, who share children Taylor, 8, and Brayden, 3, announced they were filing for divorce. “It was an awful process,” Tarek told Life & Style at the LA Mission Gala in Beverly Hills on Oct. 25. “[But it also] caused me to be a much better dad. My goal in life is to be the best dad possible because everything I do is going to affect them, and I want them to be awesome.” As for the secret to co-parenting with Christina, 35? “You could hate each other, but you never involve the kids, and you never ever use the kids to hurt the other person,” insists Tarek, 37. “I want my kids to know that me and Mom are OK, we can do things together. I want to do Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving together because it’s still my family.” While Christina celebrates her one-year anniversary with her boyfriend, British TV host Ant Anstead, Tarek has yet to find love again. “I can’t even imagine being in a relationship right now,” the HGTV hunk says. “Divorce was tough, and I’m still recovering, you know?”
“Nothing else matters but the kids,” single dad Tarek tells Life & Style of his children, Taylor and Brayden, with Christina. “Not the TV show, not the business, nothing.”
