A secret feud between Lady Gaga and Margot Robbie explodes at a recent awards show.

Lady Gaga hasn’t hidden her affection for A Star Is Born leading man Bradley Cooper. Despite the fact that they’re both in other relationships, she’s made a habit of draping her arms around the actor, staring into his blue eyes and singing his praises at every turn. But no other actress — specifically, Margot Robbie — better get as close. “After Bradley revealed how overly flirtatious Margot was with him at the 2014 Critics’ Choice Awards,” dishes a source, “Gaga’s told pals she would never trust Margot.”

It’s just the beginning of the talented blondes’ bad blood, though. From warring over the same part to red- carpet snubs, Gaga and Margot are locked in a bitter feud. And things came to a head at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA on Jan. 27, Life & Style has exclusively learned. “During the ceremony, Margot was slamming Gaga for trying to steal her crown as Hollywood’s newest golden girl,” reveals the source. “She told people that Gaga needed to ‘stay in her own lane.’ ” Instead of staying in her own lane, the s inger - turned- ac tor f lipped over the catty commentary. “Gaga confronted Margot in the lobby afterward,” shares the source. “And they really laid into each other!”

NASTY SHOWDOWN

The tension between Gaga, 32, and Mary Queen of Scots star Margot, 28,

has been brewing for a while. “Gaga’s repeatedly commented on how cold Margot’s acted toward her whenever they’ve crossed paths,” notes the source. But being cold isn’t as bad as messing with her career. After Gaga was called to audition for a Willy Wonka movie that’s currently being cast, alleges the source, she “heard that Margot had gone to extreme lengths to get a reading with casting directors to take the role from her.”

So Gaga — a six- time Grammy and two- time Golden Globe winner and three- time Oscar nominee — let the Australian actress — who was last year’s award- season darling with SAG Award, Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for her work in I, Tonya — have it during their Jan. 27 award show encounter. “Margot was really taken aback by Gaga’s aggressive tone,” says the source. “She called her deluded and Gaga shot back that Margot is a stuckup snob.” Before things could spiral further, adds the source, “they were pulled apart by Gaga’s fiancé [and agent], Christian Carino.”

He won’t always be there, though. And this feud shows no sign of ending. “A majority of Gaga and Margot’s friends think their feud is ridiculous and that they should grow up — they’re completely different actresses,” says the source. “But Gaga insists she’s not going to sit back and watch as Margot tries to stomp al l over her.”
