The battle continues. Four years after she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has extended their fight, asking for the judge on their case to be removed due to a conflict of interest — and the exes can’t even see eye to eye on who will rule on her request. After a Sept. 3 emergency hearing, the case was sent to California’s Judicial Council, with no solution reached.
Why dig in her heels now? Life & Style’s learned that Angie, 45, wants revenge more than ever. This August, Brad, 56, took new gal pal Nicole Poturalski, 27, to Château Miraval six years to the day after he and Angelina were married at the French estate. Humiliated, his ex is pulling out all of the stops to get her way in their divorce, says an insider, once and for all. “Prolonging the proceedings is just the beginning,” notes the insider. “Angie has secret tapes of Brad, and she’s angry enough to go public with them.”
DANGEROUS MATERIAL
The tapes, which consist of security footage and “possibly Angie’s own cellphone recordings,” were made before Brad gave up drinking four years ago, the insider says. And they could be used as a salvo in their ongoing custody war over Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12. (Son Maddox, 19, is old enough to decide whom he sees.) “Brad s pals are afraid Angie may have captured him drunk or yelling at the kids,” the insider shares. “He’d better watch his back.”
