KATIE FINDS LOVE AGAIN! She’s So Happy!
A year after her split from Jamie Foxx, Katie Holmes pours on the PDA with chef Emilio Vitolo Jr.
So much for social distancing! On Sept. 6, Katie Holmes put on a show for her fellow diners at NYC’S Peasant restaurant, locking lips with Emilio Vitolo Jr. as she sat on the handsome chef’s lap at an outdoor table. “Katie is crazy about Emilio,” says a source of the 41-yearold actress’ new younger man, 33. “He’s the first guy she’s genuinely cared about in a long time.”
Indeed, Katie hasn’t dated anyone seriously since her six-year relationship with Jamie Foxx, 52, ended last summer. But the source says her latest romance has been worth the wait. “Emilio is charming and witty and constantly has Katie in hysterics,” details the source of the hunk, whose family runs NYC eatery Emilio’s Ballato.
“He’s helped her finally get over Jamie. It’s clear Katie’s in love again!”
A LOT IN COMMON
The feeling’s mutual. Katie and Emilio have “bonded over their passions for culture, cooking and fine dining,” the source says. “Since they started dating, Katie hasn’t stopped smiling. And Emilio is just as smitten with her.”
Their love is not without controversy, though. A friend of Emilio’s longtime live-in fiancée, Rachel Emmons, alleges that the restaurateur sent the fashion designer a breakup text just hours before stepping out with Katie for the first time on Sept. 1. “Katie knew about Rachel,” claims the friend. “They were sneaking around Rachel’s back for a while.”
Some fear Katie could be the next one headed for heartbreak. “Emilio is very ambitious,” cautions the source, “but Katie says she can see a future with him.”
