After losing a messy court case, JOHNNY DEPP’S career is seemingly in tatters.

After a British judge rejects his attempt to clear his name in court, Johnny Depp’s star power quickly dims

The studio didn’t dock his $10M paycheck. But that still didn’t lessen the sting: Shortly after a judge ruled the publisher of British tabloid The Sun wasn’t libelous in calling Johnny Depp a “wife beater,” the actor — who had sued to clear his name — was cut from the cast of Fantastic Beasts. “I wish to let you know that I have been asked to resign by Warner Bros.… and I have respected and agreed to that request,” Johnny, 57, said in a brief statement, in which he also thanked fans for

their support and insisted that he plans to keep fighting claims that he abused his ex-wife Amber Heard, 34. “My resolve remains strong and I intend to prove that the allegations against me are false. My life and career will not be defined by this moment in time.”

But Johnny might not have much choice in the matter. Life & Style has learned that the once-unstoppable star is seeing his opportunities dry up beyond Fantastic Beasts in the wake of his courtroom showdown in the U.K. — where shocking photos, texts and audio recordings were presented as evidence of his alleged violent behavior. “Hollywood has turned against Johnny,” confirms an insider. “He’s panicking about being a washed-up celebrity and is afraid no one will hire him to work in big-budget movies ever again.”

REPUTATION RUINED

Indeed, while the insider says Johnny did have other projects lined up, “where he was working behind the scenes,” the Pirates of the Caribbean lead

is worried he may soon lose them as well: “Execs are scared of the toxicity surrounding Johnny’s name, so many of the projects are now up in the air.”

As a result, he could lose his considerable fortune. Once one of the highestpaid stars in Hollywood, Johnny never bothered to save his money, splashing out big bucks on everything from artwork

to personal planes to his own private island. “Yes, he’s getting $10 million from Fantastic Beasts, but even that kind of money doesn’t go very far when you’ve been living like he has,” the insider notes. “Maybe he can do something like a reality show, but that would never pay his bills.”

Labeled a real-life villain until he can prove

otherwise, Johnny hasn’t dropped his upcoming defamation suit against Amber for her claim, in an op-ed, that she is a victim of domestic violence. “Johnny wishes he’d never met Amber and blames her for ruining his life,” the insider says. “He’s considering writing a tell-all book, because it might be the only way to get his side of the story out there.”
