Nearing her 52nd birthday, JENNIFER ANISTON is in no mood to celebrate.
As Jennifer Aniston turns 52, the single star finds that, unlike in previous years, she’s not in the mood to celebrate
It was the first selfie she’d posted in months — and she wasn’t alone. But in the series of sweet pictures Jennifer Aniston shared on Instagram two weeks before her 52nd birthday, the handsome man snuggling up to her on the set of The Morning Show wasn’t a new love. He was her longtime hairstylist, Chris Mcmillan. “Jen refuses to get set up on dates anymore, and she won’t go near dating apps,” says an insider of the star’s stalled love life. “When she isn’t working, she stays home with her dogs and binge-watches TV shows. She’ll go days without speaking to anyone.”
Sadly, her upcoming birthday promises to be no different than all the other days. While in the past, the actress has been known for her extravagant, star-studded bashes, she has no plans for her big day on Feb. 11 as of now. “Coronavirus has obviously changed the way we celebrate, but it goes deeper than that,” shares the insider. “Jen’s just not feeling it this year. So it will probably end up being the loneliest birthday she can remember.”
A SOLITARY LIFE
Jen was far more hopeful during her 51st birthday, when for the second year in a row, she spent the evening partying at LA’S exclusive Sunset Tower, surrounded by A-list pals. In 2019 alone, the guest list included George Clooney, Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey, Jr., Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock and even her first husband, Brad Pitt. “Yes, she has tons of friends and they all want to see her,” the insider says, “but Jen’s even resisting having an intimate, socially distanced get-together. She’s not in the mood.”
Spending so much of her time alone in lockdown amid the COVID-19 crisis, says the insider, has Jen grappling with where her personal life has ended up. “She really thought she’d be settled down with kids at 52,” the insider explains. “She’s feeling emotional about it, which is why she doesn’t want to be around anyone. At the end of the day, after all the success she’s had on TV and in films, it’s just her and her dogs in her big house.”
