Things get serious — fast! — for Kourtney Kardashian and love Travis Barker.
After just four months of dating, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are ready to take the next step in their romance
He wants the world to know just how much she means to him. So on April 18 — her 42nd birthday — Travis Barker celebrated Kourtney Kardashian with a gushing Instagram post. “I F---ING LOVE YOU,” he wrote in all-caps alongside a slideshow of cozy photos of them and a video of Kourt suggestively sucking his thumb. “YOU’RE A BLESSING TO THIS WORLD.”
Hints of the pair’s romance only surfaced in January. But the blink-182 drummer, 45, and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star are getting serious fast roughly four months after taking their longtime friendship — they’ve lived in the same gated community in Calabasas, Calif., for years! — to the next level. “They already want to get married!” a source reveals to Life & Style, exclusively. “Pals are even whispering that they secretly got engaged on Kourtney’s birthday.”
HEAD OVER HEELS
Travis did go all out for her big day, hiring a plane to fly over the ocean trailing a “Happy Birthday Kourtney” banner, among other grand gestures. “She’s over the moon in love,” notes the source. “She’s never felt this way for any other guy.”
Sadly, that includes ex Scott Disick, 37, with whom she sh n, 11, Penelop d Reign, 6. While Scott repeatedly proposed over their nineyear relationship — and recently said he’d still like to marry her despite their 2015 breakup — there was never an engagement. Kourtney previously admitted to having “commitment problems,” but things have seemingly changed with Travis. “She can’t explain it,” says the source. “She thinks that Travis being a friend, first and foremost, is why their connection is so strong. There’s a respect and a maturity between them she never really had with Scott. That’s why she’s finally ready for a wedding.”
Though a rep for Kourtney denies she’s engaged, her connection — and chemistry — with Travis is clear. On top of a shared lust, the duo both have reality TV backgrounds (he and ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 46, starred on MTV’S Meet the Barkers, with kids Landon, 17, and Alabama, 15) and a passion for wellness. (Kourt has her Poosh lifestyle website; Travis launched his Barker Wellness Cbd-infused self-care line in February.) Their children are close too. “Everyone gets along great — they can see themselves as a blended family,” says the source, adding that, much to momager Kris Jenner’s delight, “there’s even talk about a TV wedding!”
