LaRue Maree Taylor passed away on December 6, 2016 from complicati­ons of Parkinson’s Disease. LaRue was born on October 4, 1917 in Moundridge, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Taylor. She is survived by her sister Katherine McCalliste­r, daughters Patricia Locke (Allan) and Beverly Simpson (Sam), granddaugh­ter Cheryl Coker (Jeremy), grandson Donald Brockhoff (Christena), greatgrand­sons Aiden and Brian Coker, Matthew and Nathan Brockhoff, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

LaRue graduated from high school in Moundridge, Kansas, attended Bethel College in Newton, Kansas, then Visalia Junior College after moving to California. After 27 years of service, she retired from CSAA in Chico, CA as office manager. LaRue and Paul lived in many locations in the Bay Area and Northern California during their 55 years together. They retired to Lodi, California and travelled extensivel­y. They especially enjoyed Hawaii and cruises. After Paul’s death LaRue moved to Roseville to be closer to family.

She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Services will be held at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville 95678 on Monday, December 12th at 11:00 am. Private Interment at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi.
