Tail-waggers

-

Saul is an approximately 1year-old neutered male orange tabby. This exceptional cat has been through quite a bit these last few months, but you’d never know it by his outgoing and playful personality. Saul was brought into the shelter with his tail broken in five places and PALS rescued him shortly after his arrival in order to get him the medical care he needed. Unfortunately, due to the extensive damage done to it, the tail needed to be amputated. Saul has made a full recovery and now he’s ready to find his forever home! Saul is exceptionally affectionate, and he loves to be held, cuddled and have his ears and belly scratched. He’s very active and playful, as well, and he loves to explore new surroundings, but his favorite activity is finding somewhere nice and warm to curl up and take nice long naps. Saul gets along very well with other cats and he has made quick friends with every cat he meets. If you’re interested in giving this handsome youngster a forever home to call his own, please come down and meet him!

••• Miles is a handsome approximately 4- to 6-year-old long haired dachshund mix weighing in at 11.5 pounds. He is a very sweet dog, slightly shy but comes around quickly. He gets along great with other dogs. Miles loves to be held and will follow you around so if you want a shadow this is the dog for you. He rides well in the car and walks well on leash. He is current on his vaccinations, dewormed, frontlined and has been neutered and micro-chipped. He is trained to potty pads and goes outside to potty as well. Miles loves to play with toys and is a loving affectionate dog, he is an all-around special little guy. He would be fine with older teens in a calmer home. Miles will be a wonderful, loving companion.

••• This is Penny Lane! Penny is approximately two years old. Due to recovering from extensive injuries and a long period of socialization, as well as several foster homes, Penny has become family. She deserves the best home we can find. Penny will need a quiet home with maybe a friendly small dog or cat. She will need a home where someone is home during the day. She is still stand offish. Her leg works when she walks slowly, but when she runs she holds it in a way that it’s not touching the ground. She is timid and needs love and patience. Penny is looking for someone who need her as much as she needs them. Penny needs to be a part of a family, do you belong together?

Penny is neutered, vaccinated, rabies checked, microchipped, dewormed, deflead and is available for adoption through Second Chance Kitty, a local nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to assisting cats, kittens and an occasional dog escape a life of abandonment, abuse and neglect.
