El Toyon Chapter welcomes new members at Christmas luncheon

New members welcomed into El Toyon Chapter DAR

The El Toyon Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution welcomed 14 new members at their annual Christmas Luncheon Dec. 3.

Those members are Christine Ketterling of Linden; Marilyn Reineman, Carole Vaughn and Joy Ross of Stockton; Carol Bone, Virginia Scholtz, Janet Davis and Kay Hutchinson of Manteca; Carolyn Greeson of Woodbridge; Christina Mambourg of Lodi; Lois Holden of Lockeford; Sherrie Vanderhelm of Salida; and Kathy Culbertson of North Carolina.

They were introduced to the Chapter by Carol Edgren, Membership Chair. Each lady is descended from a Patriot who won American independen­ce during the Revolution­ary War.

The Stockton-based chapter serves San Joaquin County and is the third oldest chapter in California. If you are interested in learning if you are eligible to join the El Toyon Chapter DAR, please contact Carol Edgren at edgrenc@yahoo.com.
