JOY WINNIVERE HATFIELD

-

Joy Winnivere Hatfield born December 2, 1926 triumphant in Life, passed to her loving God on December 15, 2016.

Winnie lived her last years joyously and in great harmony with her adored loving husband Wayne Hatfield in Woodbridge. Winnie was born with the gift of music. Her mother Joy prayed over her while she was in the womb to be born with this gift and she was a natural. She began playing at an early age for her Father’s ministerial evangelistic meetings. She was adept at playing from written music as well as in all key changes and without sheet music of any kind. She evolved into an accomplished musician and was widely loved for her talents. She played all of her life at various venues and churches where ever her life turns took her. Her final instrument and perhaps most beloved organ was the magnificent pipe organ at Zion Reform in Lodi from which she retired with great regret. She loved people. She gave of herself freely to people wherever she went. Unafraid of challenges she met life with courage always. She is beloved by all who knew her. A one of a kind Irish Rose has found her way home.

Her family misses her radiance and intellect. Her marvelous husband Wayne and his children; Debbie (Pete) Sheragy of Acampo, Doug (Sara) of West Hills, Peggy (Stan) of Orangevale.
