VILLANOVA, Pa. — Josh Hart scored 20 points to lead No. 1 Villanova to its 18th straight win, 90-48 over American on Wednesday night.

• No. 2 UCLA 82, Western Michigan 68 — At Los Angeles: Bryce Alford scored 22 points, Aaron Holiday had 16 and TJ Leaf added 14 as UCLA completed a perfect preseason.

• No. 4 Baylor 89, Texas Southern 63 — At Waco, Texas: Johnathan Motley had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Baylor finished its perfect run through nonconfere­nce play.

• No. 5 Duke, Elon 61 — At Greensboro, N.C.: Luke Kennard scored 21 points while Duke star Grayson Allen received a technical foul for his third tripping incident in a year.

• No. 10 Louisville 73, No. 6 Kentucky 70 — At Louisville, Ky.: Quentin Snider scored a career-high 22 points, including a key drive with 1:44 remaining, and Jaylen Johnson and Donovan Mitchell combined for four points in the final 16 seconds for Louisville in the 50th battle for Bluegrass bragging rights.

• No. 7 Gonzaga 102, South Dakota 65 — At. Spokane, Wash.: Freshman Zach Collins scored 21 points and Gonzaga is off to the best start in program history.

• No. 8 North Carolina 85, Northern Iowa 42 — At Chapel Hill, N.C.: Kennedy Meeks scored 10 of his 18 points during North Carolina’s dominant second half.

• No. 12 Virginia 56, California 52 — At Berkeley: Isaiah Wilkins scored a tiebreakin­g three-point play with 1:02 remaining, Mamadi Diakite added a key basket in the final minute and Virginia snapped the Golden Bears’ school-record 27-game home winning streak.

• No. 13 Butler 81, Vermont 69 — At Indianapol­is: Andrew Chrabascz scored a season-high 28 points and Butler shot 69.6 percent from the field in the second half.

• No. 15 Purdue 91, Norfolk St. 45 — At West Lafayette, Ind.: Caleb Swanigan had a career-best 32 points and 20 rebounds — his fourth consecutiv­e doubledoub­le — to lead Purdue to its sixth straight victory.

• Clemson 62, No. 22 South Carolina 60 — At Columbia, S.C.: Jaron Blossomgam­e had 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead Clemson to its seventh straight victory.

• No. 1 UConn 84, Nebraska 41 — At Lincoln, Neb.: Katie Lou Samuelson scored 23 points and Kia Nurse added 20 to help No. 1 UConn rout Nebraska 84-41 on Wednesday night for the Huskies’ 86th consecutiv­e victory.

• No. 4 Maryland 77, Duquesne 57 — At Pittsburgh: Brionna Jones finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough added 17 points as Maryland smothered Duquesne early then pulled away late.

• No. 6 South Carolina 70, Savannah State 30 — At Savannah, Ga.: A’ja Wilson scored 18 points and South Carolina cruised to a victory over Savannah State.

• No. 7 Florida State 83, Mercer 40 — At Macon, Ga.: Leticia Romero scored 17 points, while Ivey Slaughter had 13 points and 11 rebounds to help Florida State rout Mercer.

• No. 8 Louisville 78, Vanderbilt 66 — At Nashville, Tenn.: Myisha Hines-Allen had a doubledoub­le by halftime and finished with 24 points and a career-high 15 rebounds as Louisville beat Vanderbilt.

• No. 12 Ohio State 88, Winthrop 48 — At Columbus, Ohio: Kelsey Mitchell scored 19 points and No. 12 Ohio State bounced back from a loss to No. 1 Connecticu­t, beating Winthrop.

• No. 13 West Virginia 77, Mount St. Mary’s 45 — At Morgantown W. Va.: Tynice Martin and Lanay Montgomery each scored 16 points, Montgomery with 10 rebounds and five blocked shots, as unbeaten and West Virginia defeated Mount St. Mary’s.

• No. 14 Stanford 71, Geroge Washington 52 — At Washington: Britt McPhee scored 21 points and Erica McCall added 13 points with 10 rebounds as Stanford defeated George Washington.

• Wyoming 82, No. 15 Colorado 75 — At Boulder, Colo.: Liv Roberts tied her career high with 21 points and had 11 rebounds and Marta Gomez scored 11 of her season-high 19 points in the final three minutes to lead Wyoming to a victory over previously unbeaten Colorado.

• No. 17 Duke 68, Villanova 50 — At Durham, N.C.: Rebecca Greenwell and Lexie Brown scored 18 points each to help Duke beat Villanova.

• No. 18 Kentucky 69, Washington State 67 — At Lexington, Ky.: Makayla Epps scored 20 points and Kentucky held on to beat Washington State.

• Texas A&M 105, No. 19 Syracuse 84 — At Winter Park, Fla.: Danni Williams scored 30 points to help Texas A&M beat Syracuse in the Florida Sunshine Tournament.

• No. 20 Oklahoma 74, Portland State 60 — At Las Vegas: Maddie Manning scored 17 points with three 3pointers and a career-high 10 steals and Oklahoma overcame poor first-half shooting to rally for a win over Portland State at the Puerto Rico Classic.

• No. 21 Arizona 63, Holy Cross 33 — At Tempe, Ariz.: Sophie Brunner had 14 points and Kianna Ibis added 12 and Arizona State cruised to a win over Holy Cross.

• No. 21 South Florida 77, UNLV 42 — At Las Vegas: Kitja Laska scored 30 points, Maria Jesperson had 12 points, 18 rebounds and five assists, and South Florida never trailed in beating UNLV in the final contest of the Play4Kay Shootout.
