The First Noel, the Angel did say — Born is the King of Israel
Editor: The Bible record says Jesus was born over 2,000 years ago in Israel, born as a king in the royal line of King David, who was from Bethlehem.
Both David and Jesus families were common working Jewish folk (please read Luke 2:4,5,11).
The sad truth is Jesus was rejected in His day by most Jews when He presented Himself as their Savior and King, Messiah (please read John 1:10-12).
Unlike other kings, who many times send their countrymen off to die for them in a war, Jesus, Emmanuel is different, for He chose to die for us, taking our sing on Himself on a Roman cross.
That is why Christmas is a time of joy, for Jesus alone paid the full redemption price (see 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10).
So we can celebrate this year of 2016, the birth of the greatest king this world will ever know.
His name is King Jesus (read 1 Timothy 1:17 and 6:14-15).
Thank you and Merry Christmas.
