JULIE MARIE FOREMAN
September 9, 1976 – December 26, 2016
Julie Marie Foreman passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully on December 26 after bravely fighting complications from a lengthy illness.
Julie was a native Stocktonian and attended Presentation and Colonial Heights schools. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1994 and continued her education at Sonoma State and National Universities.
She was first and foremost a wonderful daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. To know her was to love her. Julie’s life was filled with delight in every day pleasures. She enjoyed the world of Disney (her favorite charac- ter was Eeyore), and she was always excited for holidays, especially Christmas. She grew up in the 80s and 90s and loved to dance to the music of those decades, especially Michael Jackson. Julie was a fervent San Francisco 49ers and Giants fan. She also spent much of her time reading and writing, as she had a deep appreciation for language arts. Although she was a quiet per- son, spending time with Julie always included her wholehearted laughter, her great sense of humor, and her quick wit.
From her earliest years, Julie was a generous and sensitive person. She was always concerned about the effect her words and actions had on others. She valued her family relationships above all, and maintained strong lifelong friendships with her sister and cousins. Julie’s compassionate nature drew her to work for the betterment of the most vulnerable among us: children and animals (her “furry friends”). She enjoyed careers at Write Start Learning Center and Child Protective Services of San Joaquin County. She was a hard-working, dedicated employee who took her professional responsibilities very seriously. She cherished her co-workers’ friendships.
Julie was predeceased by her father, Ron Foreman, and her grandparents, Esther Foreman, and John and Lena Bo.
Julie was loved unconditionally by her devoted parents, Annette and Bruce Kirby; her loving sister, Kristi Foreman; her godparents, Patricia and David Richards; and her dear cousins, Teresa and Angela Richards. She will be forever missed by her family, friends, and relatives.
Following Julie’s wishes, services will be private.
Donations in Julie’s honor can be made to Childrens’ Home of Stockton, 430 N. Pilgrim St., Stockton, CA 95205 (cchstk.com), and Pets ‘n’ Pals, 12488 S Harlan Rd, Lathrop, CA 95330 (petsnpals.org).
