Miguel Villapudua and Tom Patti sworn in as new S.J. County Supervisor­s

STOCKTON — Miguel Villapudua from District 1 and Tom Patti from District 3 were officially sworn in as new San Joaquin County Supervisor­s on Tuesday’s board meeting. Supervisor Bob Elliot from District 5 was also sworn in to the board for an additional four years. Supervisor Chuck Winn, who represents the Lodi area was elected Chairman of the Board while Supervisor Villapudua was elected Vice Chair.

Winn is honored to serve as chairman and thanked his supervisor­s for entrusting him with the responsibi­lity.

“2017 will be a pivotal year for our County, the State and our nation. I look forward to working with new Supervisor­s Miguel Villapudua and Tom Patti in conjunctio­n with current Supervisor­s Kathy Miller and Bob Elliott. Together, we can address the many challenges we face and improve the quality of life for our residents,” Winn said.

Prior to his election as a Supervisor, Miguel Villapudua served as a member of the San Joaquin County Planning Commission for eight years and was employed as a sales manager for McKinney Trailers for 12 years. He currently resides in Stockton. District 1 includes City of Stockton and a portion of the City of Lathrop.

Supervisor Patti is a local business owner who has lived in San Joaquin County for more than 30 years. Patti graduated from local schools and attended San Joaquin Delta College. Patti resides in the City of Stockton. His district includes the City of Stockton, a portion of the Cities of Lathrop and Manteca.
