ARDEN LEE GOEHRING
Arden Lee Goehring, 67, of Lodi died January 5, 2017 at his home, after courageously battling cancer (multiple myeloma) for 13 years. He was born in Lodi to Levi and Mavis (Martin) Goehring. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1967, and from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1971 with a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed in sales and as a computer technician at Goehring Meat Inc for 20 years. In 1992 he began his own business in financial services and as a licensed tax preparer. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lodi, and National Association of S Gaugers and Bay Area S Gaugers model railroad clubs. He enjoyed tennis, basketball, and his model railroading hobby.
Mr. Goehring is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debbie Goehring, of Lodi; a daughter, Kristina and her husband Tony of Davis; and a brother, Barrett Goehring, of Honolulu, HI; uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday, January 14, from 9am-5pm at Lodi Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Lodi, on Monday, January 16, at 11am.
