Arden Lee Goehring, 67, of Lodi died January 5, 2017 at his home, after courageous­ly battling cancer (multiple myeloma) for 13 years. He was born in Lodi to Levi and Mavis (Martin) Goehring. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1967, and from Massachuse­tts Institute of Technology in 1971 with a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineerin­g. He was employed in sales and as a computer technician at Goehring Meat Inc for 20 years. In 1992 he began his own business in financial services and as a licensed tax preparer. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lodi, and National Associatio­n of S Gaugers and Bay Area S Gaugers model railroad clubs. He enjoyed tennis, basketball, and his model railroadin­g hobby.

Mr. Goehring is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debbie Goehring, of Lodi; a daughter, Kristina and her husband Tony of Davis; and a brother, Barrett Goehring, of Honolulu, HI; uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday, January 14, from 9am-5pm at Lodi Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Lodi, on Monday, January 16, at 11am.
