Realtor Reno Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year

Local Realtor Johanne Reno has been the recipient the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador of the Year award. Reno will be honored at the Chamber’s annual meeting/awards dinner on Jan. 26 at Wine & Roses from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

There will be awards given to Mike Georguson as Outstandin­g Citizen of the Year; Lange Twins Winery as Business of the Year; Dancing Fox Winery & Brewery as Small Business of the Year; Brad Gohering as Agribusine­ss Person of the Year; and Tim Aguilar as Street Faire Volunteer of the Year.

The Chamber’s ambassador committee is a driving force of the Chamber, comprised of member business who are fully committed to furthering community based business, assisting with Chamber events, and welcoming new members to the Chamber.

Reno has been an exceptiona­lly active ambassador over recent years.

Born in Montreal, Reno is bilingual in French and English, and her love of real estate goes back to her youth in Canada. Growing up, Reno would often take her younger brother along with her to visit model homes and show him the properties, walking him through each room and explaining the features. Reno developed her strong business background from more than 10 years of teaching at a business college prior to entering the real estate field. She first worked as a transactio­n coordinato­r for her husband Gene, and then went on to get her real estate license in 2006.

Over the years, Reno has advanced in her real estate specialtie­s, and is experience­d in working with first-time home buyers and sellers, relocating families, and investors.
