THOMAS RALPH FERRANTE (PAPA)

Tom Ferrante, 74, of Sacramento California, passed away surrounded by his family on January 9th, 2017 in McKinney Texas.

Uncle Tom, Papa Tom or Sacramento Tom as he was known by many is survived by his daughter Karen Rodriguez, son Kenneth Ferrante, son-in-law Joe Rodriguez, daughter-in-law Mel Ferrante, brother Joe Ferrante, sister-in-law Ronnie Ferrante, sister Cathy Longmire, sister Christy Straub and his grandchildren Brian Dill, Zack Dill and Tommy Rodriguez who were the pride and joy of his life.

Tom was passionate above all, his fishing and hunting. He was always the willing teacher whether it was showing someone how to cast a fly rod or how to find the perfect fishing-hole. Papa Tom was one to always offer a helping hand to his friends and to many who did not know him.

He was a proud Marine. Tom spent over 30 years a General Manager of Bel Air Market Bakery. He leaves behind a legacy of being a wonderful Dad and Papa, a good cook, a great baker, an expert fisherman, a funny and always happy man who touched many people in many ways. Tom will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

Join us Sunday June 4th, 2017 at 10:00am for sweets and coffee at Lodi Lake on Turner Road in Lodi California near the boat ramp for a celebration of his life.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in his name to either to The American Heart Association or The American Liver Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Daddy, I will forever love you and you will always be in my heart.
