Tail-waggers
Benjamin is an approximately 10month-old brindle and white pitbull mix, and he weighs approximately 60 pounds. Benjamin is very affectionate, and enjoys spending time with our volunteers and meeting new people. He is a big fan of belly rubs and hugs.
Benjamin really loves his time outside, where he can run and play and be the goofy and energetic puppy that he is. He’s an avid tennis ball chaser, too! He’s a very smart puppy, too. Though he doesn’t seem to have had any obedience training before coming into the shelter, he’s a quick study. He’s learned the “sit” command, and we’re now working on the “down” and “stay” commands with him. We do recommend continued basic obedience training for him; Benjamin is very treat motivated, which should make his training easier.
With some training, Benjamin might make an excellent running, walking, or hiking buddy. If this loving and energetic puppy sounds like the perfect fit for you, please come down and meet him!

••• Say hello to Mitzi Catsa and Beuren. These sweeties were found in Lockeford, where they and their siblings were living under a pile of wood. A rescuer fished them out when they were quite young. Their mother was spayed and returned to her home.
Mitzi Catsa is a black and white domestic medium-haired, 8-monthold girl and one of the most affectionate kittens. She is cuddly and loves to sleep. She loves gentle dogs.
Beuren is a adventurous and a cuddler. He is a brown/black/white domestic short-haired tabby cat, also about 8 months old.
Mitzi Catsa and Beuren are looking for forever homes, either together or separate, and a family they can rely on. They are love bugs who would like nothing more than a warm lap and a sunny windowsill of their own. Do you have one? They eat a quality food with low or no grain, and receive a small amount of canned food as a treat in evenings.
