Kenneth D. Watters went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2017, at the age of 67. He was born May 10, 1949, in Lodi, California to Lee and Constance Watters, as the second of five children.

He graduated from Lodi High School in 1968. After high school, he was drafted by the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War from November, 1969 to January, 1971 with an Honorable Discharge. Ken took pride in his role as a Vietnam Veteran. Ken was also a proud member of the American Legion Post 22 since 1971.

Ken returned home to Lodi where he met and married his wife, Debra Watters. He worked in the wine industry for 44 years and retired from Woodbridge Robert Mondavi Winery in 2015.

Ken loved tinkering on old classic cars and enjoyed many rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his friends. But his favorite pastime was enjoying time spent with his granddaughters.

He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family, friends, and neighbors. He worked hard to connect with people and take interests in their lives. Ken and his smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Ken was strong in his faith.
