First Baptist Church to host IF: Gathering

LODI — First Baptist Church will be hosting a livestream of the IF: Gathering on Feb. 3 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Feb. 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tens of thousands of women worldwide will participat­e in the IF:Gathering, via a livestream from a sold out event in Austin, Texas. With a variety of cultures and denominati­ons represente­d, these women hold one thing in common — they want to live like God is real. GriefShare groups beginning sessions

LODI — A 13-week GriefShare support group is beginning sessions again in Lodi starting on Feb. 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Dan Brown House, 11 W. Lockeford St. GriefShare is a network of over 12,000 churches worldwide equipped to offer grief support groups. This is a support group that is led by caring and loving folks that have experience­d loss. They will help you walk on the long path through grief toward healing. The cost of the class is $15 to cover the cost of the workbook. You can come at any time and repeat or rejoin the group when convenient.

Emanual Lutheran Church annual crab feed

LODI — Emanuel Lutheran Church’s annual crab feed is Saturday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. The event includes entertainm­ent, live auction and a raffle. Tickets can be purchased on Sunday mornings or in the church office Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $40 each or $280 for a table of eight. Beth Hallel collecting change for Pregnancy Resource Center

LODI — Do you have a bottle filled with spare change around the house? Please bring it to Beth Hallel, which offers services every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Vinewood Community Church, 1900 W. Vine St. For the next three weeks Beth Hallel will be filling baby bottles with spare change to be donated to the Lodi Pregnancy Resource Center. Last year, the church donated $741.00.
