JONATHAN A. SANCHEZ

1999 – 2017

Jonathan A. Sanchez, age 17 passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 after being involved in a fatal car accident with another friend Dean, who remains in a coma. He was born May 10, 1999 in Stockton to Rocio N. Sanchez and was raised by Jesus Mier, his stepfather with help from his grandmother Ines Sanchez. Jonathan had one sibling, a sister, Kaitlyn Mier. Jonathan was a high school senior at McNair, who was a conflict mediator, and he played for the Varsity Soccer team and wore jersey number 5. He was well loved by all who knew him because of his amazing personality and his smile that could light up an entire room. In Jonathan’s spare time he enjoyed spending it with his friends, working out at the gym, and making videos for he and Deans youtube channel. He will be greatly missed by fellow classmates, his teachers, friends and family.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 23, 2017, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. @ Cherokee Memorial Park (Hwy 99 and Harney Ln, Lodi CA.) in the Chapel of Flowers (Chapel is located in middle of the Sierra View Mausoleum. When entering park look for signs directing you to Chapel of Flowers.) Rosary will start at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday March 23, 2017. Memorial and time for sharing will begin at 3:30 p.m. following the Rosary. Funeral Service will be for only close friends and family on Friday March 24, 2017 10:00 a.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park. (Hwy 99 and Harney Ln, Lodi CA.)
