Tokay softball takes down West

The Lodi High softball team got its first Tri-City Athletic League win on Thursday, beating West 6-4 at the Lodi Softball Complex in a game that was postponed from Wednesday due to weather.

Harlie Litton led the Flames’ offense with a double and three RBIs, along with two singles from Samantha Amarante, a triple and a single from Shelby Feathersto­n and singles from Bailey Correia, Ashley Toy, Meagan Gonzalez and Rylie Brooks.

Danielle Pfennig pitched a complete game, allowing nine hits and two walks while striking out five as Lodi improved to 4-9 overall and 1-2 in TCAL play. Frosh-soph

Gianna Guidi led the Flames with a 3-for-4 day, with two doubles and three RBIs. Haley Price went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, Kiara Baker went 2for-4 with an RBI, Madison Faul went 2-for-2 with a run, Britni Machen went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Brooke Lewis had a double and two RBIs, Jocelyn Moya had a triple and an RBI and McKenzie Evans and Makara Neal had singles.

Moya pitched four innings, allowing three earned runs on seven hits, and Lewis finished, striking out three while allowing no runs in three innings. Varsity

Frosh-soph BASEBALL

Joseph Heryford, Dylan Mahurin and Jaden Swanson each singled for the Tigers in Thursday’s loss. Victor Nateras pitched a complete game, allowing six hits and walking one.

Tokay had one hit — a Devin Olsen triple — and Cody Meyer pitched a complete game, scattering 10 hits and allowing two runs. Turlock walked off in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI single.
