Cable companies, TV networks need to stop putting customers in middle

-

Editor: Just wondering how many readers out there subscribe to Dish Network, and if you too have just about had it with Dish and NBC being unable to clear up their differences and quit making us, the customer, pay?

This has been going on for about a month now. KCRA News is our go-to news channel, not to mention most of our favorite network programs are on NBC. For news, I’ve found Fox 40 to be a suitable replacement with a lot of local news, but I want to watch NBC.

If you are fed up about this, I suggest you write a letter or email to Dish.

Here is a summary of the letter I sent them yesterday:

“Dear Dish, the problems that exist between NBC and Dish should not be that of the customer. We watch NBC about 80 percent of the time. This mess has affected our household. We pay our bill faithfully each month for a particular package, and Dish is not delivering on this package; therefore, we feel our monthly bill should be lowered until the two companies can come to terms.”

There isn’t room to write the whole letter here, but you get the idea. If we all ask for a reduction in our bill it will begin to affect their bottom line and maybe they will be more inclined to seek a solution.

So if you are tired of a big company messing with your television viewing, write the letter. Let’s let them hear from the customer. Tell the to just get it done! ORLENE DENTONE Acampo
