Liberty Ranch defeats Galt on the links

The Liberty Ranch High boys golf team improved to 4-2 in the Sierra Valley Conference with a 201-230 win over cross-town and conference rival Galt at the par-33 Emerald Lakes Golf Course on Wednesday.

Nate Mancebo added 39 for the Hawks, along with 41s from Adam Lopes and Jayco Rocha, a 44 from Kody Lunde and a 57 from Adam Lima.

Andrew Bustamante led Galt with a 38, followed by 42 from Jason Welch, 49 from Steven Sharp, 50 from Joe Hand, 51 from Vincent Greico and 54 from Dylan Ory.

Lodi 133, West 7

Tyler Ribiero and Shane McKay were double winners for Lodi in Friday’s Tri-City Athletic League home meet. Ribiero won the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle. McKay won the 100 butterfly and the 500 freestyle.

Other winners for the Flames were Matthew McDCay in the 200 intermediate medley, Max Mortensen 50 freestyle, Braden Acosta 100 backstroke and Jakcosn McDonald 100 breaststroke. Frosh-soph girls

Addison Burton swam to first place finishes in the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle for the Flames on Friday.

Other winners for Lodi were Ashlee Cooley in the 200 intermediate medley, Mikaela Schmierer 50 freestyle, Danielle Reed 100 butterfly, McKenzie Campbell 500 freestyle, Lia Spaletta 100 breaststroke and Mary Barnes in diving.
