Family Caregivers support group for dementia

Brookdale Lodi offers two support groups each month for family members and caregivers of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

One group will meet at 2 p.m. today. The other will meet at 6 p.m. April 27.

Computer classes at the Lodi Public Library

The Lodi Public Library will hold the following computer classes:

• Microsoft PowerPoint: 9 a.m. today. How to create and present a PowerPoint slideshow.

• Computer Basics: Noon on Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday. Computer, internet and email basics for beginners.

• Windows 10 Essentials: 9 a.m. Thursday. Windows 10 features, setup, security, and file management.

All classes are free and require advance registrati­on. They will be held in the library’s Computer Learning Center, 201 W. Locust St., Lodi.

Book club at the Galt library

Free bass fishing seminar on Thursday

The Sportsman’s Warehouse and Fairfield Bass Reapers fishing club will host a free bass fishing seminar on Thursday at the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Fairfield.

Topics include fishing the Delta, Berryessa and Clearlake, and informatio­n about various techniques and fishing gear. This seminar does not cover striped bass. It will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sportsman’s Warehouse is at 1590 Gateway Blvd., Fairfield.
