Tokay tennis falls to St. Mary’s
The Tokay boys tennis team earned points with wins from Nick Lozano (6-3, 6-4 over Quyen Pham) at No. 3 singles and a forfeit with for the No. 3 doubles team of Kade Henry/Joey Gilley, but St. Mary’s prevailed, winning 7-2 on Tuesday at Tokay.

Marcellos Murillo accounted for the Tigers’ only hit of the day with a single. He was later caught attempting to steal. Kolton Fernandez, Asiel Garcia and David Fuentes pitched for Tokay.

The Hawks won at the Woodland Tournament on Tuesday, and play Winters in the fifth-place game at 11:30 a.m. today. Freshmen
St. Mary’s 11, Tokay 7
Colby Baker had an RBI double, two stolen bases and two runs, but the Tigers fell to the Rams on Tuesday. Also hitting were Kyle Shannon with a single, four stolen bases and two runs, Harrison Blevins with a single and two stolen bases, James Hayden with two singles, Zane Patton with two singles and Nolan O’Donnell with a single and a stolen base.
Blevins, Joey Del Barba, Shannon and Baker took turns on the mound.
BADMINTON
Varsity boys Lincoln 3, Lodi 2
Lincoln swept the singles matches, but Lodi won the two doubles matches — John Rowlands/Julian Howe defeated Teddy Miller/Neo Sam 21-14, 21-17 at No. 1 and Erik Christensen/Michael O’Mahoney defeated Joey Her/Moises Torrez 21-12, 21-14 at No. 2. Varsity girls

The Trojans swept the girls match, with Lodi’s No. 1 player paige Mattei coming closest to taking a set in a 21-18, 21-10 loss.
