Galt sets meetings for Neighborhood Watch groups
Galt residents are invited to attend a Neighborhood Watch meeting in their areas on the following dates:
• April 24: 7 to 8 p.m. at New Hope Church, 200 New Hope Road.
• April 26: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m at Heritage Senior Park, 700 2nd St.; 2 to 3 p.m., Galt Place Senior Apartments, 400 D St.; or 3:30 to 4:30 pm, Three Palms Mobile Estates, 604 Pringle Ave. Topic will be addressing the concerns of Galt’s senior
The Stagg High School Class of 1967 will be hosting its 50th class reunion from July 14 to 16. The reunion will include a golf tournament at Swenson Golf Course and a cocktail party on Friday, a sit-down reunion dinner on Saturday, and a catered brunch on Sunday. The cocktail party, dinner and brunch will all be at the Italian Athletic Club in Stockton.

Delta-Sierra Group to meet April 24
Lee Miller will give a presentation to the Delta-Sierra Group about problems created by overpopulation and how to deal with them. Miller is a current member of the Sierra Club Mother Lode Chaper’s Committee for a Sustainable World Population and former fisheries biologist for the California Department of Fish and Game.
The presentation is free and open to the public. It will be held at 7 p.m. April 24 at the Fireside Room, Central United Methodist Church, 3700 Pacific Ave., Stockton.
