Bank archivist will speak at historical society
Lodi Historical Society presents Bill Maxwell, who has been archivist for Bank of Stockton for 30 years.
Maxwell will speak about the history of the bank, as it is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. He has access to a wealth of pictures, evidenced in the beautiful calendar Bank of Stockton publishes each year.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hutchins Street Square Senior Center, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.
Get documents shredded at the UPS Store
The UPS Store in Lodi will host a document shredding event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Up to 5 pounds of documents will be shredded for free. After that, shredding will cost $1 per pound.

Local bank to host document shredding event
Central Valley Community Bank will be holding its 11th annual free document shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon April 25 at the Lodi branch, located at 1901 W. Kettleman Lane, suite 100.
Bank customers, as well as community businesses and individuals, are invited to shred confidential files safely and securely.
Lodi Ukulele Club meeting is Wednesday
The Lodi Ukulele Club will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust St. All skill levels are welcome to join the circle. Bring your uke, sing along or just enjoy the music. Attendance is open to the public and free of charge.
NAMI Lodi Family Support Group to meet
NAMI San Joaquin County’s Lodi Family Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. April 27 at Lodi Avenue Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 2301 W. Lodi Ave.
