Flames track runs past Wolf Pack

The Lodi High boys track team remains perfect in Tri-City Athletic League dual meets this season.

Hosting West on Thursday, Lodi (3-0) raced past the Wolf Pack 104-36. Double winner for the Flames was Erik Ebert in the 400 meters at 52.38 seconds and the 200 at 22.88.

Other first place finishers for Lodi was Ben Bishop in the shot put at 42 feet, 3 inches; Bryan Quintero at the discus at 139’5; Samuel Wright at the pole vault at 15’; Brandon Owens in the triple jump at 39’ 5 1/4; Nick Benincasa, 800 at 2 minutes, 7.46 seconds; Raees Khan, high jumpe at 6’2; Ryan Westerterp, long jump at 19’11 and Peter Vo, 3200 at 10:16.18. Andres Sandoval was a double winner for Tokay in the 1600 meters at 4:20.58 and the 800 at 2:04.35.

Emilio Segovia won the discus for the Tigers at 127’8. Aidan Green followed in the 300 hurdles, 44.16 and Aldo Perez in the 3200 at 10:24.16. Varsity girls

Improving to 2-1 in TCAL dual meets, Lodi was led by Rachel Maddox, who won the 1600 at 5:41.41 and the 3200 at 12:05.82.

Other Flame winners were Alyssa MatagaSayl­er , 100 hurdles at 17.51; Kelsey Siria, pole vault at 8’6; Paige Sefried, 400 at 1:00.15; Raychel Brown, triple jump at 32’ 9 1/2; Brooke Aberle, 800 at 2:37.91; Jackie Westerterp, 300 hurdles at 49.54; and Aubrey Andrews, long jump at 15’9.

Kayla Dart darted her way to a first place finish in the 400 meters for Tokay, which also won the 4x100 relay at 55.02 and the 4x400 relay at 5:05.12. Dart took second in the 200 at 28.78.

Luis Ramirez, Jaime Quesada and Nick Frisk had a hit each for Tokay in a TCAL home game at Zupo Field. The visiting Bulldogs had nine hits.

Madison Faul went 3-for-5 and scored three times for Lodi in its win over its crosstown rival.

Haley Price and Gianna Guidi went 3-for-4 each. Price had 3 RBis. One of Guidi’s hits was a double. Jocelyn Moya and Brooke Lewis had a single each for the Flames.

In the circle, Moya tossed four innings for Lodi (5-5 in the TCAL, 11-8), allowed four Tiger hits, struck out five and walked one.

For the Tigers, Megan Walker and Emilyu Walker went 2-for-3 each, and Kathern Jackson singled.
