Wild About Wine at Micke Grove Zee
Enjoy wine, tapas and art at the fourth annual Wild About Wine event. Hosted by the Micke Grove Zoological Society, the event will celebrate the zoo’s 60th anniversary with a sampling of delicious appetizers and tapas, wine tasting, live entertainment and a raffle.
Wild About Wine runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the zoo. Tickets are $35 for zoological society members, or $40 for non-members.

Cocktails start at 5 p.m., with dinner to follow at 6 p.m. Music and dancing will go on until 10 p.m. There will also be a raffle and an auction. Proceeds will be used to support the Mokelumne Rescue Team.

Kentucky Derby West fundraiser for Hospice
Hospice of San Joaquin Butterfly Auxiliary of Lodi is presenting its fourth annual Kentucky Derby West on Saturday, May 6.
Held at the Sargent Equestrian Center, guests will watch a live viewing on a jumbo-sized screen of the Kentucky Derby followed by a delicious dinner and dessert in the Grandstand Terrace.
Guests will enjoy Southern hospitality along with mint juleps, wine and food samplings, a carriage driving derby, live and silent auctions, and bourbon and cigars in the Jockey Locker.
All proceeds benefit Hospice House.
