MARVELL IRENE ERETH

Marvell Irene Ereth, 80, passed away at her home in Lodi on April 22, 2017. Marvell Sauers was born on May 15, 1936 in Mandan, North Dakota to Clarence and Irene Sauers.

She married Ludwig Ereth, Jr. in Mandan in 1955; they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2005 before Ludwig’s passing.

Loving mother to Curtis, Thomas, William, Steven and Julie. Loving grandmother to Starlene, Tony, Crystal, Katie, Stacey, Nichole, Scott, Grant, Samantha and Thomas Jr. Loving great grandmother of Benjamin, Marcus, Nathan, Kaleb, Arial, Kolby and Mikah. Sister of Theodore, Henry, MaryLou, Betti and Dorthy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Thomas, her brothers, Gene, Curtis, Thomas, and her sister Joyce.

She was Mom or Grandma to everyone who knew her. She had equal amounts of gentleness and strength.

Marvell was a member of the Lodi Eagles Auxiliary for 24 years.

She will be remembered for her devotion to and love for her family; and for her love of bingo on Monday and Friday nights.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Avenue, Lodi, CA. Burial will be held at Lodi Memorial Cemetery with a reception immediately following at the Lodi Eagles Hall, 217 E. Lockford Street in Lodi. Lodifuneralhome.com.
