Feathersto­n, Flames win in extra innings

Shelby Feathersto­n got the win in Lodi’s 32, extra-innings victory over West on Wednesday, and also drove in the winning run in a double in the ninth inning.

With the score knotted at 2, Ashley Toy reached on an error in the bottom of the ninth inning. Bailey Correia singled to move her to second, and Feathersto­n cracked a double up the middle that scored Toy and would have scored Correia as well.

Feathersto­n finished with three singles and two RBIs, and struck out three while allowing four hits in 4 2/3 innings after she took over for Danielle Pfennig in the fifth inning. Pfennig struck out one and allowed five hits in 4 1/3 innings.

Correia finished with three singles, Samantha Amarante had a triple, a single and an RBI and Rylie Brooks singled.

Lodi (4-9 TCAL) plays St. Mary’s on Monday and finishes the regular season with a home game against Tokay next Wednesday.

Keala Brown went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a run, and Arianna Lozano pitched a complete game in Wednesday’s loss.

Aliah Cisneros and Kayly Pau each went 2for-3, with an RBI from Cisneros, Jenna Schneider and Sydney Giovannoni. Mia Misasi and Lozano had a single each. Frosh-soph

Katherine Jackson and Leyla Ayala each hit a double and a single, and the Tigers loaded the bases twice but couldn’t get any runs across.

Jackson pitched a complete game with seven hits and two strikeouts, while Emily Walker singled twice, and Megan Walker, Victoria Cuevas, Belen Espinoza and Jazmine Garcia singled.

Frosh-soph Jaime Gonzalez threw a complete-game shutout in Wednesday’s victory.

Adam Lopes and Nate Mancebo led the Hawks with 48s each in Tuesday’s loss in the regular-season finale. Garrett McElroy added a 50, Kody Lunde shot at 51, Jaycob shot a 56 and Adam Lima carded a 62 as Liberty Ranch finished 6-4 in league duals for third place.

On Monday, the Hawks defeated Cordova 229-240, led by McElroy’s 40. Mancebo had a 45, Rocha had a 46, Lopes had a 47, Lunde had a 51 and Lima had a 61.
