Board of Supervisors seeks applicants for open positions

The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors is seeking volunteers to serve on the following boards and commissions. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, May 19. The board will consider qualified applications received on or before the deadline for the Behavioral Health Board on July 11. The Board of Supervisors will consider qualified applications received on or before the deadline for all other appointments on June 13. Vacant positions include:

• Behavioral Health Board: one position

• Council for Quality Education and Care of Children, formally Local Child Care

Planning Council: three positions

• Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee: one position

• Housing Authority Board: two positions

• Lockeford Municipal Advisory Council: two positions

• Resource Conservation District: one position

• San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District Citizen's Advisory Committee: one position

• Thornton Community Center Advisory Board: one position

• Thornton Municipal Advisory Council: one position
