Walding, a third baseman, hit a solo home run in a 6-5 win over Portland on Saturday.
Gio Brusa
High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball Professional: San Jose Giants (Giants AAdv.)
Brusa, a switch-hitting outfielder, had a two-run home run in Friday’s 11-4 win over Stockton, and went 2-for-4 against Modesto on Monday.
Brad Reeves
High school: Lodi Sport: Golf College: University of Arizona
Reeves and teammate David Laskin finished tied for 20th at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships after the fourth day of play was canceled due to snow. Reeves shot an 8-over 218 in Boulder, Colo., with nine birdies throughout the tournament.
Alex Dentoni
High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball College: Sacramento State Dentoni made a relief appearance in an 8-3 loss to CSU Bakersfield, allowing two runs on four hits with three strikes.
Matt Richardson
High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball College: Hawaii Richardson made one relief appearance last week, with one run allowed in 1 1/3 innings of work in an 8-7 loss to CSU Northridge.
Bryce Graddy
High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball College: Cal Poly-Pomona Graddy, a junior shortstop, had a single and an RBI in the regular-season finale, a win over Sonoma State on Sunday.
Jessica Hartwell
High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Softball College: Texas Tech Hartwell, a sophomore infielder, had a single and a walk in a 4-2 loss to Oklahoma, then had a single and an RBI in a 14-3 loss to the Sooners on Sunday.
Ali Medina
High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Softball College: William Jessup Medina, a senior outfielder, had a triple,
a single, an RBI and a run as William Jessup opened the Golden State Athletic Conference tournament with a 7-0 win over Menlo on Tuesday.
Allie Mendez
High school: Lodi Sport: Softball College: Corban University
Mendez, a senior pitcher, took the loss on Saturday as Corban fell 4-1 to Carroll College, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits in seven innings. She pitched three scoreless innings with four strikeouts in a loss the day before.
Katianna Parisis
High school: Tokay Sport: Track and field College: Fresno State
Parisis finished fourth in the women’s hammer throw with a 48.97-meter throw in the finals of the Fresno State Invitational on Saturday.
