Galt’s Infinite Theatre Group takes top honors at Mother Lode festival
GALT — The GHS/LRHS Infinite Theatre Group finished strong at the 46th Annual Mother Lode Drama Festival held recently in Sutter Creek.
Both advanced classes from Galt and Liberty Ranch high schools performed one-act plays at the festival held at the Giles Turner Theatre at Amador High School.
The student actors and actresses combined for the small casted one-act “Scarecrow” which took home top honors, placing first in the festival with the Superior Award.
Annalee Oliver, Mac Weber and Gabe Montesano as three haunting figures of life unsatisfied, round-out this wonderfully performed one-act that ended the festival to a stunned audience and almost speechless judges, according to adviser James Nunes.
