ROBERT DRAYTON MILLER, JR. “BOB”

Robert Drayton Miller, Jr., “Bob”, 68 of Lodi, CA passed away on May 10, 2017 at home in the arms of his love Lynne and surrounded by his children and brother after a long 2 year hard fought battle with cancer.

Bob was born in Clay Center, Kansas on September 18, 1948 to Robert D. Miller, Sr. and Patsy Ruth Haws Miller.

Bob started dating the love of his life and soul mate Lynne Hill De Cruz on May 19, 1991 and they were married on May 22, 1993, they were married almost 24 years and were not apart for more than 3 days during their 26 years together.

Bob worked as a Warehousem­an/Forklift driver for Robert Mondavi and Constellat­ion Brands at the LDC for 20 years. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy with Fighter Squad 92 on board the USS Enterprise from August 24, 1966 to September 17, 1969. Bob was an accomplish­ed drummer, learning to play at the age of 12. He enjoyed playing his drums for the Lord most of all. Bob was a very special man who had a way of making people feel important and loved. Some say he never met a stranger and he is loved and missed by all that knew him. Bob’s smile and blue eyes always lit up the room and his laugh was contagious.

Bob is survived by his love Lynne, his children Shelly (Joshua), Richard, Mark (Jannie) and Theresa (Scott), grandchild­ren Ryan, Shannon and William, father Robert D. Miller, Sr., brother David Miller and other family and many friends.

Bob was a God loving man and was not ashamed to show it and share it.

Bob has joined in Heaven his mother Patsy R. Miller and brother Steven K. Miller.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on June 3, 2017 at Faith Community Church, 18621 North Highway 99, Acampo, CA 95220.
