Bob was born in Sledge Mississippi to Robert “Bossie” McCarver and his mother Corrie McCarver.

Our Man, Bob, served in the United States Army for three years starting his service in 1960.

Our Man knew hard work and liked long hours for the extra pay. Working on tractors and then moving to underground tunnel construction. After ten years in the tunnel trade, Bob found better opportunity selling cars in 1971. Moving thru sales to management to a partnership in Modesto Datsun. His performance there, caught the eye of Nissan Motors and they offered him an open franchise in Shingle Springs, CA. Shingle Springs Nissan soon followed with Shingle Springs Subaru. 31 years of service to his dealership and employees created a lasting tribute to an honorable man with a stellar reputation recognized nationally by Nissan and Subaru.

Bob’s addiction to the game of golf created great memories with his Friday group at Cameron Park Country Club and many friendships.

Our Man will be honored in a private ceremony at 1 pm, Saturday June 24th, 2017. Green Valley Cemetery, 3004 Alexandrite Drive, Rescue, CA 95672.
