Free class for landlords, property managers

A free training and informational seminar on rental housing laws for landlords and property managers will be held at the Lodi Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday.

The workshop, hosted by San Joaquin Fair Housing, will provide an overview of the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants, as well as a brief overview of state and federal laws pertaining to rental housing.

Angels Camp Museum offers art class for kids

The Angels Camp Museum is offering a nature drawing class for children ages 9 to 12 years old. No previous art experience is required, just a willingness to have fun. Illustrator Jim Miller will guide students through a day of “Drawing Nature Step-By-Step.” The lessons will focus on developing observation skills useful in sketching with pencils. Materials will be supplied.
