The Lodi Public Library will hold a Fun with Word — Flyers and Signs computer class. The course will cover how to use Word’s special formatting features to design flyers for special events. The class will be held at 9 a.m. July 3. Students should have basic computer skills.

Driver safety workshop for senior drivers

The San Joaquin Safety Council is offering a driver safety workshop for drivers 55 and older on Saturday, July 22 and Saturday, Aug. 26.

The workshop, which offers the benefits of a DMV certificate valid for auto insurance discounts for three years, includes information on new laws, new technologies, the future of driving and a study review of DMV test questions.
