Archie and Andy are approximately 4 months old, neutered kittens; Archie is a white and black domestic short-haired kitten, and Andy is a short-haired tuxedo kitten.

Archie and Andy are brothers that PALS rescued when they were just 1 week old. Being separated from their mom at such a young age was very hard on them, but we were fortunate to be able to place them with a wonderful foster mom who bottle-fed them around the clock and gave them loving care. Today, Archie and Andy are energetic and adventurous kittens, with very outgoing and loving personalities.

Archie and Andy are very affectionate, and love to hang out and play with each other — that is when they’re not taking power naps curled up next to one another. We’ve recently introduced Archie and Andy to a room with other cats of various ages, and they seem to be adjusting very well to having other cats around. If you’re interested in giving Archie and/or Andy a loving forever home, please come in and meet them!

For more information, call PALS at 209-224-0354. To meet other cats and dogs available for adoption, stop by the PALS Adoption Center at 1405 W. Kettleman Lane, next to the Lodi Animal Shelter. Center hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed Sunday and Monday.

PALS is a Lodi-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in Lodi by increasing the number of animals adopted, reducing animal suffering and providing the highest level of humane care. Visit PetFinder.com to view cats and dogs currently available for adoption or its website at and find out how you can volunteer and/or foster the many animals waiting for permanent homes.

Abi-Gale is an approximately 3-yearold terrier/Chihuahua mix. Her vaccinations are current, and she is scheduled to be spayed and microchipped.

Abi-Gale is house-trained as long as you take her outside — she will dance around and yip by the back door until she is let out. She is a good watch dog, but can get over a 4-foot fence, so a standard 6- or 7-foot fence is needed. Abi loves to chase the squirrels. She knows the commands “sit,” “stay,” “down” and “come.” She knows the words “go potty” but needs more work on “lay down.”

Abi is protective of the husband in the house and will protect the yard if a stranger comes onto the property when she is outside. She is gentle, affectionate and is a talker. She is also playful and is a lap dog. She likes older children and gets along with cats. She has not been around other dogs. She rides well in the car.

Abi craves attention and listens well. She will be a perfect companion for

someone who works from home or a newly retired person who has time for her. Portrait compliments of 4PawsPetPhotography.
