Marcelino Ochoa Castellano, 68, died tragically in an auto accident Sunday, August 6, 2017.

He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Jane Castellano; his daughter Antonia Castellano and husband Dan of Lodi; his son Fernando Castellano and his wife Sandip of Stockton; daughter Andrea Schmidli and her husband, Scott of Lodi; daughter Marcella Orrock and husband Jason of Lodi; five brothers, three sisters, twenty-two grandchild­ren and eight great grandchild­ren. He is preceded in death by his grandmothe­r Isabel Ochoa, who raised him.

Mr. Castellano was deeply devoted to his family and enjoyed long country drives with the love of his life, going to Jackson with his wife and family, and enjoying time with his grandchild­ren. For the past 40-years he’s enjoyed Sunday breakfast at Mi Ranchito restaurant in Stockton. He enjoyed John Wayne westerns, working on old cars, and spending time at the Pick N Pull. Mr. Castellano was a mechanic at Tri Valley Thornton, and Pacific Coast Producers Woodland where he was employed for 40-years, he was known as an extremely dedicated and hard working employee who never called in sick. Both inside and outside the workplace, he could always be counted on to help others in need. Mr. Castellano was loved by so many in his community and will truly be missed.

Friends and Family are invited to Lodi Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10th from 4:00pm-6:00pm for the viewing, followed by a memorial service from 6:00pm8:00pm. Lodi Funeral Home is located at 725 South Fairmont Avenue in Lodi.

Church services will be held at the Temple Baptist Church Friday, August 11th at 10:00am with burial service immediatel­y following Cherokee Memorial Park.
