Watson is an approximately 1-year-old pitbull terrier mix. He weighs approximately 45 pounds. This playful guy has been at the shelter since midAugust, and he is looking for a forever home with an endless supply of tennis balls.

Watson is very friendly and outgoing, and he’s always eager to make new friends, especially if they have time for a game of fetch. When he’s not chasing down tennis balls, Watson enjoys lying out in the sun and rolling around in the grass. He is a very social dog, so he likes to be near people, where he can get lots of attention and affection. He especially loves belly rubs.

Watson knows the command “sit” and is learning “down.” He walks fairly well on a leash, though continued basic obedience training is recommended.

••• Molly is a 6-year-old chocolate Chihuahua mix. She has had heart surgery in the past, and is now a happy, healthy dog. She is also on a Royal Canine dog food to prevent bladder stones.

Molly’s family recently moved to an upstairs condo with no yard access, and they are trying to find her a home where she has more room. She is a gentle, affectionate and well-mannered lap dog. Molly gets along with other dogs and ignores cats. She loves riding in cars and is leash-trained wearing a harness; she also enjoys dog parks as long as they are not too active.

Molly loves to meet people and is fine with older children; younger, more active children make her nervous. She loves to sit on the sofa next to her human.

Her portrait is compliments of 4 Paws Pet Photography.
