Ming, a junior, started at right guard on Saturday as the Hornets racked up 572 yards of total offense in a 41-21 victory over Idaho State.
Chance Trammell High school: Lodi Sport: Football College: Whittier
Trammell, a junior running back, carried 14 times for 60 yards and a touchdown as the Poets lost 45-23 to Pomona-Pitzer College on Saturday.
Nate Coffman High school: Tokay Sport: Football College: Trinity Bible College
Coffman, a senior, started on the offensive line in TBC’s 27-21 loss to Finlandia, helping the Lions to 351 yards of total offense.
Rhea Hartwell High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Soccer College: Soka University
Hartwell, a junior defender, helped her team shut out Saint Katherine College 7-0 on Saturday.
Macy Barajas High school: Lodi Sport: Tennis College: Holy Names University
Barajas, a freshman, played in the Santa Cruz Slug Invitational over the weekend, going 2-1 in the C singles draw, with wins over Roxana Farmer (6-0, 6-0) and Santa Cruz’s Jessica Kirschman (6-0, 6-1) before a 6-4, 6-4 loss to teammate Ellis Work in the semifinals. In the doubles main draw with teammate Julia Golub, she won their first match 8-1 before losing 8-2 in the quarterfinals.

As her Lancers improved to 18-0, Marks had four kills and five blocks in a win over Chaminade on Wednesday, then four kills and six blocks in a win over Azusa Pacific on Saturday.

Valdez, a freshman libero, had 12 digs in a 3-2 victory over Folsom Lake on Oct. 11, then had two digs in a loss to Sierra on Thursday.
