Patricia Ann Hall (Cooper) born on October 6, 1930 passed away peacefully at home in Lockeford California on Thursday, October 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Irene Cooper, husband Richard Hall, and brother Donald Cooper. She is survived by four sons, Ralph with daughter in law, Millie, Robert, Donald, and William with daughter in law Susen. Sheleaves behind her grandchild­ren Benjamin, Brittany, Ian, Tylar, Joshua, Sydney, Samuel and Shaun. Great grandchild­ren Ellianna, Faith, Jacob, and David. She also leaves behind her nephew Christophe­r Cooper and niece Ashleigh Kruk.

Patricia attended the University of Davis where she earned her bachelors degree in Home Economics and later earned a Masters Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University. She was a passionate educator and was the principal, teacher and school bus driver for a small school in Hyder, Arizona in the late 60’s and early 70’s. She later moved back to the Stockton area where she taught 7th and 8th grade science for the Linden school district for over 30 years.

After graduating from UCD, Patricia, served in the United States Army as a lieutenant, in charge of food services. It was during her service in the military that she married her husband, Richard, who was a marine sergeant. It was common for the family to often lovingly remind Dad that she “outranked” him.

Patricia was a past matron for Eastern Star, a member of AAUW, Delta Kappa Gamma, and Daughters of the Pioneers. She loved to travel and garden. She was well loved by family and friends, and will be forever be remembered as “Granny”.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the “Pat Hall Science Award Fund” at Waterloo Elementary School, 7007 Pezzi Road, Stockton 95215.

A private memorial will be held at a later date by the family.
