TEDDY KATHLEEN WARREN

-

Cathy passed away October 23rd 2017 after a lengthy, but brave battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born February 5th, 1943 in Hollywood, California to her parents Henry and Doris Wright.

Cathy’s younger years were spent living in West Los Angeles near her Grandparents while her father served in the Navy. Graduating from Alexander Hamilton High School She went on to have two daughters and work in property management. Cathy was a single parent and with her daughters being her first priority she chose to follow her parents to Lodi. It’s in Lodi where she found home and continued to raise her daughters. Cathy worked for General Mills as a forklift driver for 20 years. She made some amazing lifelong friends there. Cathy’s home was a huge source of pride as it was the gathering spot for all holidays. Cathy and her home sparkled during Christmas when she decorated each room with great care.

Cathy’s love of her children and grandchildren was endless, attending all of their school and sporting events. She always had time to take them shopping while making them feel so loved and cherished. She always loved a good adventure as she would call them. A road trip with shopping and dining along the way. Many summers spent at the family cabin with the grandchildren following her on her many treks thru creeks, lakes and hiking. Cathy’s adventures also included her sister with whom she traveled far and wide to find the right Chinese food and missing piece for her Christmas displays.

Cathy’s smile, sense of humor and her adventurous way of life will be truly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her Daughters Betsy and husband John Heinrich, Krissy and husband Jeff Graham, grandchildren Ryan and wife Jordan Heinrich, Katelyn Heinrich, Jake Strong, Riley Strong, loving and devoted sister Linda Hiatt, nieces Sara and husband Michael Walter, Merrie and husband Doug Mettler, great niece and nephew Neely and Ford who could always bring a smile to her.

We would like to thank the Community at Brookdale Alzheimer’s and Dementia care for their amazing care of not only Cathy but, her entire family. We could of not gone through this journey without them. There will be no services as Cathy had requested.

A family dinner of all her favorite things and great memories will be shared. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to The Alzheimer’s Association. ALZ.Org.
