Concerned about loose dogs

-

Editor: The other day, my husband was fixing the sprinklers in the front yard. He looked up and two pit bulls were looking at him. The pit bulls had no collars, no leash, no tags, and no master.

My 71-year-old husband got up and slowly walked in the garage and closed the door. I called animal control and explained the situation. She said they can’t come out. Can you corral them?

I said are you kidding me? I said I hope and pray these pit bulls don’t attack an adult, child, or another animal.

On Saturday my husband and I took his sharps to the Police Department. I explained the pit bull situation to the officer there and his answer was they are all short-staffed. DONNA LANG Lodi
