Computer classes at the Lodi Public Library

The Lodi Public Library will hold the following computer classes:

• Computer Basics and Internet for Farmers: 9 a.m. Thursday. Participan­ts will learn the basics of computers and the Internet. No prerequisi­tes.

• Introducti­on to Email and Cloud Computing for Farmers: 9 a.m. Wednesday. Participan­ts will learn to set up and use email accounts, as well as how to create, store and share files online. Prerequisi­te: Basic computer skills.

• Fun with Word (Cards): Today at noon. Participan­ts learn to create greeting cards with Microsoft Word. Prerequisi­te: Basic computer skills.

• Microsoft Excel for Farmers: Today, Wednesday, and Nov. 14 and 15 at 3 p.m. Participan­ts learn to create and use spreadshee­ts and charts using Microsoft Excel. Prerequisi­te: Basic computer skills.

Lodi Lake docents meeting focuses on reptiles

There will be hot dogs, popcorn and candy, with a family movie shown in the Social Hall and a teen movie shown in the Fireside Room.

Lodi Roc-Vemberfest concert honors veterans

Idol Beer Works and Korynderel­la’s Music Machine have teamed up to create Roc-Vemberfest, an all-ages concert to benefit veterans.

To honor Veterans Day, the team is offering a full day of music, art, beer and food running from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Twenty of the region’s leading musical acts will take two stages, including Korynn OC, KDoh & The Doh-Nuts, The Blues Mechanix, The William Sconce Band, The Madness Remains, The Scotty Lowe Band, Cole Hinkle and Dana DeMoulin. The event will also include an art show featuring local artists, along with a silent auction.

Admission is $5 for the general public and free for all veterans and active duty military personnel. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Operation Restored Warrior.
