First Tee welcomes new board members

-

The First Tee of San Joaquin is an organization that aims to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

This year alone First Tee has assisted over 600 children in our community. The First Tee of San Joaquin would like to welcome three new board members: Karen Amestoy, JJ Godi, and Jeff Tokunaga.

Amestoy became involved with The First Tee of San Joaquin after completing the Leadership Stockton program and realized she wanted to be more involved with the youth of our community.

Godi has a passion for nonprofits and sports in our community. He’s been involved with the American Heart Association as well as Leadership Stockton, and has been a Realtor with Art Godi Realtor. He lives in Lodi with his wife, Marissa, and their two children Dominic (12) and Mia (9).

Jeff Tokunaga is owner of Truex Insurance in Stockton and an accomplished golfer.
