German grouop to host Christmas meeting

Featuring a finger food dessert buffet and a sing-along yodeling and accordian performance by Arthur Brogli, the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia will meet at First Baptist Church in Room 6 at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Dishes should serve 10-12 people and be prepared and pre-cut before the meeting as there will be no access to a kitchen.

First Baptist Church is located at 267 N. Mills Ave., Lodi.

Lodi Women’s Connection is hosting a brunch on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Elkhorn Golf Club,

The Featured guest will be Karen Anderson from Young Living Essential Oils and the featured speaker will be inspirational speaker Mary Middleton, who will share her story “Maggie’s Journey.”

Galt Rotary hosting community dinner

Galt Sunrise Rotary will be hosting a community dinner open to all Galt residents on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Littleton Center, 410 Civic Drive. To-go meals are also available.
